Your total is those four added together, nothing more. We report your completion to your court at no extra charge.
Who is eligible
- Your citation is an Arizona civil moving violation. An out of state license is fine.
- You have not used defensive driving school in the last 12 months, measured from violation date to violation date.
- The violation did not involve a death or serious physical injury.
- Commercial license holders qualify only if the citation came in a class D or M vehicle not used for commercial purposes.

Your deadline
Arizona requires the course to be complete at least 7 days before your arraignment date. Sooner is safer.
Instructional times
Online, any hour, any day. Instruction totals 240 minutes, the Arizona minimum, and you can pause and resume as often as you need.
Refunds
Our course fee has its own three day window. The state and court fees follow Arizona rule 7-205, which is more generous than people expect if you never start.
